Through the Digital Library, the Foundation for Siberian Cultures makes its own publications and other documents available on the Internet free of charge. This is intended to facilitate access to research findings and ethnographic materials for as many user groups as possible. The Open Access claim expressed with the Digital Library goes back to the web domain www.siberian-studies.org, which was set up by Erich Kasten and Michael Dürr in 2004. As a rule, the Creative Commons License (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0) governs use of the digital content.

Or'jakan – "kleines Rentier"

Or'jakan - "little reindeer": dance and music of Siberian peoples from Kamchatka. From June 12 to July 6, 2009 the youth ensemble Or'jakan visited Germany and Switzerland together with four other dance and song artists from Kamchatka. They took part in international festivals, held workshops and cultural encounters with young people in schools and gave concerts at various cultural institutions.
