Remembrances of my childhood in Sedanka

Valentina Ivanovna Uspenskaia was born in 1941 in the Itelmen village of Sedanka on the west coast of Kamchatka. She later lived in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski until her death in 2004 and worked there in administration and as an Itelmen language teacher. The narrative was recorded in Esso in 2000 after a workshop organized by Erich Kasten.
