In 1999, Erich Kasten organized a tour of the ensemble Nulgur from Esso (central Kamchatka) in Germany following an invitation from Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. The ensemble Nulgur and other dancers from Kamchatka - Ekaterina Gil’, Aleksandra Urkachan und Elena Zueva – staged their performance in Berlin, Bonn, Münster and Munich, which had been developed and rehearsed during a workshop on Kamchatka.
