Ethnografica of the Dybowski-Collection from Kamchatka
In the Ethnographic Museum of Cracow there are a number of objects that were collected by Benedykt Dybowski in central Kamchatka in the years 1877-1883. They include clothing items with bead ornaments similar to those documented 130 years later in the video The reindeer migration is seen well against the snow. Following an invitation by Andrzei Dybczak and Jacek Kukuczka, Erich Kasten commented on these objects during his stay at the Ethnographic Museum from February 29 – March 2, 2018, based on his own ethnographic notes.
