The information sheet offers an overview of the exhibition. In the catalogue with the same title, various themes are discussed by well-known scholars, and illustrated by objects from the exhibition. The DVD Shamanic Worldviews in Indigenous and Western Art was also produced on this occasion, presenting the following artists and their work: the indigenous carving artists Aleksandr Pritchin, Anatoli Solodiakov, Egor Chechulin and Anatoli Donkan, as well as a group of artists from St. Petersburg and Berlin. Thomas R. Miller showed his video project The Shaman’s Journey. The Even youth ensemble Or’yakan and other dancers from Kamchatka staged shamanistic motifs during a choreographic performance on the occasion of the exhibition’s finissage. Young people expressed in drawings what they knew about shamans from the elders’ reminiscences.
